This was posted by The Raw Food Kitchenette, Catherine, this is her favourite green smoothie so I thought I would try it and its pretty good indeed!
I’m not actually a fan of celery but the oranges disguise the taste nicely! This is the beauty of green juices or smoothies is you still get your greens in without the screwed up face reaction as the fruits disguise the bitterness.
Here is Catherine’s Green Smoothie recipe:
- 1/2 bunch Kale
- 3 oranges
- 2 carrots
- 1 stalk celery
- 1/4 inch ginger
- Filtered water (if creating a green smoothie)
If juicing, add all ingredients except the water and run through the juicer.
If blending, combine all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend with 700mL water. Drink immediately.
