Sal’s Pear, Date & Nut Green Smoothie

This was posted by The Raw Food Kitchenette, Sal, so it’s aptly named Sal’s Pear, Date & Nut Green Smoothie. And it is delicious. Almost dessert like.

This would make a great meal replacement or post-workout smoothie, lots of good fats, added protein with the nut butter and plant based protein powder. I substituted the Sunwarriror Brown Rice Protein Powder with Hemp Protein Powder.

Ingredients:

  • 500mls filtered water
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1T nut butter
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 zucchini
  • Dash flaxseed oil
  • Dash cinnamon
  • 2 organic medjool dates
  • 1 pear
  • 2T Sunwarrior Brown Rice Protein Powder or Hemp Protein Powder
  • Stevia to taste if required

Method:

Blend all ingredients in high powered blender and drink immediately. Enjoy :-)
