1. Plan your meals
Create a weekly meal plan, including a variety of nutritious foods, to avoid impulsive and unhealthy choices.
2. Choose whole foods
Opt for whole, gluten free grains, dairy free alternatives, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats instead of processed and sugary foods.
3. Control portion sizes
Be mindful of portion sizes to prevent overeating and unnecessary calorie intake. Use the palm of your hand for a guide for protein intake. The 4 fingers joined together for carb intake. And both hands together, open palms, for vegetable intake.
4. Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of filtered water throughout the day to help maintain proper bodily functions and reduce the likelihood of confusing thirst with hunger. Add a pinch of celtic sea salt for remineralising your body.
5. Read food labels
Pay attention to nutritional information on food labels to make informed choices and identify hidden sugars, unhealthy fats, and excessive additives.
