Sal’s Pear, Date & Nut Green Smoothie
This was posted by The Raw Food Kitchenette, Sal, so it’s aptly named Sal’s Pear, Date & Nut Green Smoothie. And it is delicious. Almost dessert like.
This would make a great meal replacement or post-workout smoothie, lots of good fats, added protein with the nut butter and plant based protein powder. I substituted the Sunwarriror Brown Rice Protein Powder with Hemp Protein Powder.
Ingredients:
- 500mls filtered water
- 2 handfuls baby spinach
- 1T nut butter
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 zucchini
- Dash flaxseed oil
- Dash cinnamon
- 2 organic medjool dates
- 1 pear
- 2T Sunwarrior Brown Rice Protein Powder or Hemp Protein Powder
- Stevia to taste if required
Method:
Blend all ingredients in high powered blender and drink immediately. Enjoy
